HOW TO USE COVID COACH
COVID Coach can be used as a stand-alone education and self-care tool, or as a supplement to professional mental health care. You can mark your favorite coping tools and track your mental health over time. Set reminders to visit the app each day and work toward your goals. The app can also help you create your own personal support network.
NOTE: COVID Coach is not intended to replace needed professional care related to COVID-19 or mental health conditions, such as PTSD.
Several of the questionnaires used in COVID Coach, including the PTSD Checklist (PCL-5), are reliable and valid self-report measures used across VA, Department of Defense (DoD), and the community, but they are not intended to replace professional evaluation.

https://headfit.org/
The new platform, HeadFIT, is a website that provides 24/7 access to tools to help military personnel manage the stresses of everyday life. It includes self-help advice on breathing exercises, body posture and relaxation techniques that have been designed for troops, including new recruits, long-serving personnel, veterans and civilians. The techniques are designed so they can be easily integrated into everyday lives, according to a statement from Harry's public relations team in Los Angeles and posted online at https://www.headstogether.org.uk/heads-together-and-the-ministry-of-defence-launch-headfit/

There’s a range of proven, everyday tools and habits to help us with that.  But a great start is to STOP and become aware of how you are responding to things.
This is the moment you come off autopilot, CHALLENGE what’s going on in your head and, if it’s appropriate, CHANGE the way you’re thinking.
It’s the basis of HeadFIT for Life.
Learn to check in with yourself and get into the habit of using the tools that are right for you.

Substance abuse often precedes suicidal behavior in military veterans. Approximately 30 percent of military suicides involved drug or alcohol use. This is one of the reasons Addiction Group was founded.
